Whether you’re a new business owner or an established business looking for a refresh, State of the Creative can design a brand and a website to make sure your business shows up with intention.

  • We start by getting clear on the foundation — why you do the work you do, who you do it for, and what makes you different. Over a few working sessions, we dig into that together and I shape it into your brand voice. This becomes the core of everything you put out into the world.

    From there, we move into visuals. A logo suite built to work across print and digital, paired with typography and a color palette that fits.

  • Your brand identity does the heavy lifting here. We take everything we've built together and translate it into a custom Squarespace website that looks like your business, sounds like your business, and makes sense to the audience you want to attract.

  • Once your brand identity is established, we make sure it shows up everywhere it needs to. Business cards, email signatures, LinkedIn banners, signage — whatever your business requires. Every touchpoint is an opportunity to show up consistently, and consistency is what makes a brand feel real.

I only work with one to two clients at a time.

That’s not a limitation — that’s a choice. When you hire me, you get my full attention: quick turnarounds, answered calls, real bandwidth.

Fresh eyes are part of the job

Your job is to be in the weeds, building your business, and my job is to maintain a 30,000-foot view of what you do, to tell your brand story to the audience you want to attract. Sometimes this means I notice things about your work that you don’t, because you’re too immersed in it. This is why you hire someone (me!) to do this work. A second set of eyes is helpful!

You’re an expert, and so am I

You are the industry expert. I build brands. You know your business better than I ever will — and that's actually the point. The best work we do together comes from both of us contributing. I'll guide the process, but some of it will have to come from you.
